The Challenge

NIHR Research Design Services, part of King’s College in London, support health and social care researchers at all stages of preparing grant applications.

After winning this tender, we were tasked to take over a legacy system consisting of a website and web app, redesign and redevelop it, and provide ongoing maintenance for the two solutions. The main challenge was to port the old Support Request data into a newly developed system, ensure all data connections remained intact, and to integrate the new database tool with an API on the Laravel side, and then use a gravity forms submit hook to post to it.
