EFDA

EFDA, the European Fusion Development Agreement, is the umbrella organisation of all fusion research laboratories in Europe. It is part of the EURATOM programme of the European Commission.

The Brief

To completely re-design and develop the EFDA website and prepare it for the new organisation structure. Use WordPress as the CMS as it’s proven, stable secure and easy to use. The web design must be updated, easy to use and capable of presenting a significant amount of content.

The Solution

As this is the second website we have done for UKAEA and CCFE, and the client was already familiar with WordPress, it became the obvious choice.

All pages were carefully crafted by Electric Studio to cover for all the various scenarios needed to cater for. We also integrated solutions for building a FAQ and glossary database, and multimedia section, newsletters as well as a careers section and all the normal pages needed. All functions are fully integrated into WordPress.
